Baby Sign Language: Clothes, Socks, and Shoes in American Sign Language

Teach your baby the signs for the words clothes, socks, and shoes in baby sign language with the following descriptions and videos.

Clothes

Hold the hands in front of the body with the palms facing the body. Move the hands up and down from the chest to the abdomen.

Socks

Form the signed number one (1) with both hands. Hold the sides of the index fingers next to each other with the fingers pointing down. Rub the index fingers up and down.

Shoes

Form the hands into fists. Tap the thumbs together twice.
