Baby Sign Language: Halloween, Costume, Trick or Treat, Candy

Teach your baby the signs for the words Halloween, costume, trick or treat, and candy in baby sign language with the following descriptions and videos.


Cup the hands in front of the face. Open the hands to the sides of the face.


Form the signed letter Y. Shake the Y at the side of the face. Then form the hands into claws. Shake the claws in front of the chest.

Trick or Treat

Form the hands into the signed number two (2). Hold the fingers in front of the eyes. Open and close the index and middle fingers twice while moving the hands outward.


Form the hand into a fist with the index finger point straight up. Rub the index finger on the side of the mouth.
